Relaxing At The Farm

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Green Acres. It was really nice to come back after a day of biking to sit outside and enjoy the great views! Very relaxing. The rental was immaculately clean and comfortable. About a 15 minute drive to downtown Bend. Nice to get away from the busy crowds!”

Peaceful country location

“Very peaceful stay. Private and serene setting. Loved the quiet, but also appreciated the comfort of owners on site. Would definitely recommend!!”

A nice surprise...

“We got this place last minute so didn't have high expectations but we were very pleasantly surprised. It's a really great little country getaway and not very far away from town. We would definitely stay here again.”

Great escape in the country

“Lovely studio apartment! I can not say enough nice things about the rental unit, it is clean, nicely decorated, fully functional kitchen and super spacious (you will have to hand wash the dishes since there isn't a dishwasher). Not sure on the exact footage, but I'm thinking about 800 sq feet. So much larger than your average hotel room and very quiet. The owners live on the property but the unit is detached from the house with plenty of space in between. There is a donkey that lives below the unit in the barn, but it's a very modern barn, galvanized siding. It doesn't smell like a farm, just good clean air. There is a table and chairs near the "pond" where you have a beautiful view of the mountains, there is also a great fire pit with chairs (wood supplied) where you can enjoy the outdoors in the evening. You do have to drive down an unpaved gravel road, maybe a 1/2 mile or so, so your car will get dirty, but nothing that can't be washed off. The rental is less than 15 minutes away from downtown and maybe 10 minutes to stores, restaurants and the such. Our family really enjoyed the experience and appreciated the opportunity to stay somewhere off the beaten bath. We would definitely return.”

Serenity in the Country

“My husband and I traveled to Bend for a short weekend vacation and stayed at Green Acres. We were greeted with a lovely, clean loft that had vaulted ceilings and a really comfortable bed. Most importantly, it had AC, which was incredibly refreshing since it was 97 degrees outside. The place was incredibly quiet, with the exception of the donkey "hee-hawing" for about 30 seconds around 7:30am. We didn't mind and thought it was very cute-- it made us giggle each time. The setting is quite pretty and I wished so could have sat and enjoyed the scenery of the pond a bit more, but it was way too hot outside. Unfortunately, the windows are a little high in the rental so we didn't have any scenic views from the inside. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and it was a comfortable place to collapse and rest after a full day of exploring Bend.”
